Attention to the planet

We perceive fashion as a creative diode to express our feelings towards beauty, with responsibility to our planet. We aknowledge our ecological footprint when producing and designing. Based on our fertile Greek land, we believe there is an essence for our brand to exist.

Balancing between Eastern and Western civilizations, we embrace our multi-cultured roots that derive from our personal philosophy and Greek family values with the vision to create memories in our garments, no borders attached.

Materials

To produce a responsibly made product, we choose each material with intention and care. When sourcing for our designs, we prefer natural, recycled, and organic fibers and do not use any fur, nylon or asbestos.

LINEN is a textile made from the fibers of the flaxplant. Linen is laborious to manufacture, but the fiber is very strong, absorbent and dries faster than cotton. Garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot and humid weather. In our Summer Collections you will find a big variety of linen garments.

COTTON is a natural fiber that comes from the seedpod of the cotton plant and is used to make many fabric types at every price point. We usually use cotton from Greece that holds the 10th place in cotton farming and production around the world. Our jeans and many more garments are made from cotton or cotton blends.

SILK is a natural protein fiber, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The protein fiber of silk is composed mainly of fibroin and is produced by certain insect larvae to form cocoons. We use silk for airy dresses and kaftans.

TENCEL is a lyocell rayon fiber, created by converting dissolved wood pulp into versatile fiber using a low-toxicity solvent. During this process, 99.5% of chemicals are reused in a closed-loop system. TENCEL™ Lyocell is durable without feeling heavy – it has a gentle feel that moves well with the body.

MODAL is a super soft fiber made from beech trees. It is considered a semi-synthetic because the raw material, cellulose, is a natural material which is then turned into fiber using an environmentally-friendly chemical process

VISCOSE is one of many popular fabrics that exists and is commonly known as Rayon. Viscose material is man-made and created by weaving together fibers from cellulose that is chemically extracted from trees. Viscose makes light fabric, breathable, and great for warm summer weather.

CUPRO is a regenerated cellulose fiber that is produced by treating cotton cellulose with cuprammonium salt. It is especially known to resemble silk, and is also known as artificial silk. Cupro fabrics breath like cotton, drapes beautifully, and look and feels like silk on your skin.

WOOL for our outerwear, coats and suits we often incorporate wool ensured that all animals are handled with respect during shearing process. It is a soft and warm and lightweight. Most wool comes from sheep and goats, but wool is also taken from camels, llamas, and special rabbits. Wool is a natural material.

Craftsmanship

The KNLs’ design process starts with us thinking about what we really want to wear right now. We source the finest natural and luxurious fabrics possible, to bring those designs to life quickly.

We believe the perfect fit is the most important part of our clothes. We spend hours fitting on different bodies and have a meticulous approach to our fits.
